Small Quake Rocks Mount St. Helens Area... ( www.kxl.com)

The quake, measuring 4.3, hit just northwest of the volcano

It was followed about an hour later by a 2.3 magnitude aftershock. The initial quake was reportedly felt around the area, especially in Longview, WA. So far there have been no reports of damage, although experts are looking around the area to make sure.

Seth Moran with the Cascades Volcano Observatory says this is the latest in a series of small quakes around the mountain, but there is no indication the quakes could signal more activity on the volcano.
