(CNN) -- Fourteen were missing in southwest China after torrential rains collapsed homes in the area, state-run Xinhua news agency reported Tuesday.
Heavy rains hit southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Tuesday causing 19 homes to collapse. Rescuers were searching for the missing people, Xinhua reported.
