More landslips hit Bervie Braes
A section of the cliff slid onto a house on Thursday morning
More landslips have taken place at Bervie Braes in Stonehaven, where about 100 households have been evacuated.
A huge section of the cliff slid onto a house while the residents were inside on Thursday morning, and more mud fell onto the property overnight.
There have been further slips around the harbour area and a section of footpath has collapsed.
Aberdeenshire Council has urged residents to stay out of their homes until further notice.
The council had advised householders to leave their properties as a "matter of urgency" following the slip.
On Friday morning, it said about a quarter of residents in the area had decided not to evacuate and were remaining in their homes.
"They have been advised of the risk of taking this course of action," said a spokesman.
Almost 90% of the affected households had made contact with the rest centre which had been set up at St Bridget's Hall.
The council said it would be visiting the 10 remaining homes in an attempt to speak to those who live there.
A helpline has been set up on 08456 08 12 06.
