70 injured in Asia earthquakes
AdvertisementAn earthquake measuring 6.4 has struck central and eastern Japan, one of the world's most earthquake prone countries.

In Tokyo, train services were cancelled, motorways closed and a nuclear power station shut down. At least 70 people are thought to have been injured.

Earlier, a tremor measuring 7.6, was recorded, north of India's Andaman Islands between Burma and India. A tsunami warning was issued, but later rescinded.
