Cyclone Robyn strengthens to the west of Australia
Tropical Cyclone Robyn is strengthening off the coast of Australia
Tropical Cyclone Robyn became a severe tropical cyclone on Monday, as it continued to track off the western coast of Australia.
Currently the cyclone is packing winds of 80mph (130 kph), and is located 400 miles (644 km) southwest of the Coco Islands.
It is forecast to move slowly southwards and strengthen over the next 24 hours, before changing its track to a westerly direction.
The cyclone is not expected to make landfall and will weaken on Tuesday.
