Thirteen rescued after flooding

Thirteen people have been rescued from homes and vehicles in the wake of flooding across Wales after heavy rain.
Mid and West Fire Service crews dealt with more than 100 flooding incidents and were involved in five rescues.
Two women were stranded in floodwater in a car in Landore, Swansea and four stuck in two cars near Newcastle Emlyn.
Five adults and a baby were rescued from two houses in Meidrim, Carmarthenshire, while a person was rescued from a house in Pembrokeshire.
Fire crews in other parts of Wales attended flood calls in the Rhondda, Cynon and Merthyr valleys, as well as in the Maesteg area and also in Wrexham and on Anglesey.
The largest number of calls were dealt with by Mid and West Wales Fire Service.
Fire crews rescued three people from a cottage and two adults and a baby from another house, both in Meidrim near St Clears, Carmarthenshire.
Four people stranded in two vehicles near Newcastle Emlyn, Ceredigion, were rescued, and at the Old Toll House in Redberth near Milford Haven, a person was rescued from the first floor.
At Landore, Swansea, crews used a winch to rescue two women stranded in a car in flood water in Neath Road.
The fire service said its control room have taken more than 180 calls since midnight in Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Swansea.
They have also had crews pumping out Island House at St Clears, Carmarthenshire, since 1130 GMT.
Dyfed-Powys Police say the A40 at Canaston Bridge near the turning to Oakwood is closed after the river burst its banks following heavy rain.
Landslip
The Cleddau Bridge was closed for a number of hours to high-sided vehicles due to high winds but had re-opened to all traffic by 1130 GMT.
South Wales Fire and Rescue Service attended flooding calls at Maesteg, Merthyr, Aberdare, Treorchy and Tonypandy.
The A4061 Rhigos Road in Rhondda has closed in both directions between Hill Street and the A4059/A465 owing to a landslip involving several tonnes of earth.

The closure will remain in place throughout Sunday and Monday while an inspection took place.
Nigel Wheeler from Rhondda Cynon Taf council said the landslip had been caused by the bad weather.
"It appears that a water course has changed direction causing the earth to slip on to the road.
"We're worried how unstable the ground is now so we will be sending staff up to assess the situation first thing in the morning."
South Wales Police say they have has some reports of localised flooding, mainly in the Swansea area.
Council workers have been unblocking culverts.

A number of streets in the Birchgrove area of the city were flooded when a mountain stream became blocked and water was diverted through a housing estate.
Paul Miller, a building contractor who has lived in the area all his life, called out a JCB driver who works with him to try to move earth from the affected area.
"[The flooding] is an ongoing problem. The last time it happened was about 10 or 11 years ago, and it's happened three times in my memory," he told BBC Wales' news website.
He praised the JCB driver for his efforts, saying he had "dragged him out of bed" about 0830 GMT when the flooding hit.
Some of the affected houses had just been completed, and one couple had only received a brand new kitchen on Saturday, including a £2,000 oak floor, which was all destroyed, he added.
Neighbour Ian Govier from Haul Fryn, who captured the floods on video, said one car had tried to get through the water but had become trapped as the water rose.
"It got higher and higher, almost to the roof at one point," he said.
"The stream that comes down the mountain was blocked and got higher and higher.
"There was a wall there which retained thousands of gallons of water but couldn't take it.
"People heard a big bang - it was like a tidal wave coming down.
"There were stones and bricks everywhere."
Gwent Police say they have had reports of localised flooding in the Blaina and Blaenavon areas, involving drains being blocked.
North Wales Fire Service have been called to nine flooding incidents on Sunday, with a few in the Wrexham area, one at Mancot, Deeside and two on Anglesey, at Bodedern and Amlwch.
