Engeland opnieuw getroffen door zware regenval.. ( bbc)

Parts of the UK hit by heavy rain by Darren Bett

Heavy rain is expected to make its way across the UK on Friday. Weather warnings for heavy rain are in force for Wales, the North West, North East, South West and South East of England, including London. Strong winds are also expected to lash some regions, with gusts of up to 50mph (80kph) likely along southern coasts.

Forecasters warn up to 50mm (2 inches) of rain could fall in some places on Friday, as much as would typically be seen in a fortnight in September. People in Gloucestershire are bracing themselves for another night of heavy rain, after last night downpours caused localised flooding and forced road closures.

The rain is brought on by an area of low pressure, which has developed over the UK. This type of weather is not unusual for autumn, but it is earlier than expected.
