NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Heavy rain has pounded Nashville, dropping 2 inches of precipitation in an hour.
There were no immediate reports of serious injuries. Some property damage was reported in the Bellshire area early Tuesday evening, and a tractor trailer overturned on Interstate 24 north of Nashville.
Nashville television stations reported that trained weather spotters saw a funnel cloud.
Nashville-Davidson County was under a tornado warning for about an hour. Frequent lightning and hail accompanied the rain.
The storm hit as Paul McCartney performed at a sold-out concert at the downtown Bridgestone Arena.
