Zware regenval en zwaar onweer treft Belfast..(bbc)
City floods follow thunder storms
Flooding on Belfast's Castlereagh Road
People living in south and east Belfast are clearing up after flooding followed heavy thunder storms.
Streets off the Castlereagh and Cregagh Roads were badly affected by rising water on Sunday evening.
Residents in the area have had to deal with severe flooding before and have been given compensation.
On Sunday, streets were flooded in the Castlereagh and Ormeau areas. However, it is understood no houses were affected by the rising water.
Last August, torrential rain caused widespread floods across Northern Ireland, with rivers bursting their banks, landslides and roads cut off.
Belfast resident Winnie Gardner who was affected by Sunday's flooding said government money might be better spent improving the drains system in the south and east of the city.
"That's two boilers I have lost in two years," she said.
"They paid out £1,000 last year and before ... why not put that into fixing the drains?"
