Door verandering van luchtlagen krijgen vliegtuigen meer last van turbulentie

10 Injured During Turbulence On Flight

ATLANTA -- Ten people were injured during serious turbulence on a Lufthansa flight arriving from Frankfurt Friday afternoon.

A Lufthansa spokesperson said four passengers on flight number 444 received minor injuries and one passenger has been hospitalized. Five flight attendants were also injured.

The plane landed at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport at 3:10 p.m. with priority clearance, airport officials said.

Airport officials said a total of eight people were taken to the hospital, including the five flight attendants and three passengers.
