Series of storms brings an abundance of water

iReport — These pictures were taken in Victorville, CA in the in Mojave desert. A trilogy of storms has deposited more water in a short period of time, 3days, than the area gets in over 6 months. This makes adequate drainage a problem for area residents. They can expect plenty of foliage in the coming months of spring,... including tumbleweeds.
The first picture shows the storm clouds rolling in near Silverado High School in Victorville, CA. The second picture shows this writers back yard with an Asian garden featuring drought tolerant plants and water conservatiion design. But due to the recent storms, the garden has too much water currently and a unwarranted water feature has been created.
