Flooding causes rail disruption
A replacement bus service was laid on between Aberdeen and Dundee
Rail passengers faced travel woes after heavy rain caused flooding which closed the line between Aberdeen and Dundee.
Travellers had to instead make their way between the two cities by bus throughout Saturday.
The floods struck between Stonehaven and Montrose, meaning services could not get north or south.
Special buses were instead laid on, but some passengers said there had been a lack of information about what was happening.
One woman who went from Aberdeen to Glasgow on Saturday night, told BBC Scotland: "There was quite a lot of confusion but I found out about a bus to Dundee, and then caught the train fom there.
"I did not get back until about midnight."
The electronic message board at Aberdeen station read: "Special notice: flooding. Due to flooding on the line between Montrose and Stonehaven all services are subject to serious disruption."
