Indus river overflows 40 times normal volume of water

Fresh flooding in southern Pakistan has displaced almost a million people in the past 48 hours, according to the UN.

In Sindh province, 70% of the 300,000 residents of the town of Thatta were forced to flee to safer areas after the Indus river burst its banks.

The BBC's Chris Morris reports on the ''chaos'' in the south of the country as thousands are on the move.
